Sharjah Set to Host 3rd Arab Finance Forum in Morocco

Sharjah: The General Secretariat of the Sharjah Award for Public Finance (SAPF) is gearing up to inaugurate the third Arab Finance Forum, scheduled for October 6-7, 2025, in Tangier, Morocco. The event, organized by the Sharjah Central Finance Department and the Arab Administrative Development Organisation, will focus on “Outstanding experiences in developing public finance.”

According to Emirates News Agency, this forum is a part of Sharjah’s efforts to enhance joint Arab cooperation in public finance. It aims to promote the exchange of expertise among governmental, Arab, and international financial institutions. The initiative also seeks to develop modern financial management tools to align with global economic changes.

The forum will cover various topics, including public finance reform, financial governance, digital changes in financial systems, and performance-based budgeting. It will also discuss spending efficiency, transparency, accountability, and financial auditing and oversight.

The event serves as a strategic platform for ministers, undersecretaries, financial directors, and decision-makers from the Arab world. It will also involve international financial institutions, banks, and investment funds, providing an opportunity to highlight successful Arab experiences in public finance, which can contribute to sustainable economic growth.

This forum is part of the regular activities initiated by the Sharjah Award for Public Finance, which aims to recognize excellence in Arab governmental financial management. The award encourages the exchange of experiences and fosters a culture of excellence and innovation in financial governance at both Arab and international levels.
