Shura Council participates in Euro-Asian Parliamentary Forum

Saint Petersburg, Dr. Jehad Abdulla Al Fadhel, Second Deputy Chairperson of the Shura Council, participated in the 4th Euro-Asian Women's Parliamentary Forum from September 18-20. She said this participation follows His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's visit to Russia in May, which led to agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation. Dr. Al Fadhel stressed the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening democracy and Bahrain's international relations. The forum, organised by the Russian Federal Assembly and the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States, focuses on multipolarity and diplomacy, the future economy and new technology, cultural diversity, and environmental protection. The forum serves as a platform for women leaders, parliamentarians, and officials to address global issues, including sustainable development, technology, and social welfare.
