Accra:The Southern Military Zone successfully intercepted an attempt to smuggle electronic control devices via a drone within its jurisdiction.
According to Jordan News Agency, Border Guard units detected and brought down the drone inside Jordanian territory. The operation was conducted in coordination with military and security agencies, resulting in the seizure of the drone's payload. The confiscated items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for legal and investigative procedures.
The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) reiterated its dedication to combating smuggling and infiltration activities. It emphasized the deployment of its full operational and intelligence capabilities to address such threats, underscoring the readiness of Border Guard units to maintain the security and stability of the Kingdom.
