Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) has announced the allocation of 1,098 natural death pensions over the past year, increasing the total number of retirement salaries for this purpose to 25,898.
According to Jordan News Agency, the eligibility conditions set by the SSC require that the deceased person must have a minimum of 24 actual subscriptions paid to the corporation, with at least 6 of those being consecutive payments. The SSC clarified that this pension is provided to the eligible heirs of the corporation-insured person starting from the month of the beneficiary's death. Additionally, a funeral expense allowance of JD700 is also granted to the family of the deceased.
