Amman: The Social Security Corporation (SSC) announced the allocation of 239 permanent total and partial natural disability pensions during the first half of 2025, increasing the cumulative number to 28,531 salaries.

According to Jordan News Agency, the SSC stated that a subscriber's service must be terminated to meet the eligibility criteria for receiving any type of disability retirement. The corporation emphasized that the subscriber must submit a disability pension allocation request within a maximum period of six months from the date of service termination.

Furthermore, the SSC outlined that subscribers are required to have paid a minimum of 60 actual contributions, which must include 24 consecutive subscription payments. Additionally, a certified disability letter issued by a decision from the SSC's medical committees is necessary to qualify for the pension.
