Amman: Social Security Corporation (SSC) announced it will launch a new version of its mobile application for individuals mid-September. This initiative is part of the SSC's ongoing efforts to develop its e-services, enhance the user experience, and streamline access to the corporation's services for insured individuals, retirees, and beneficiaries.
According to Jordan News Agency, the new and improved version of the application is part of SSC's plan to expand its e-services. The expansion aims to provide a "more user-friendly and flexible" digital experience by developing the application's interface and improving access to services and information. The upgraded interface caters to the needs of various segments of the SSC's audience and allows users to access insurance services and information and complete transactions online anytime, anywhere worldwide on their smartphones, eliminating the need to visit the corporation's branches.
The SSC noted that the launch of the new version of the application complements its efforts in digital transformation and development of its e-services system. In another future rollout, the SSC also noted that an updated version of the application designed specifically for establishments will be released later. So far, the SSC affirmed the majority of its services are available online through its website. Currently, any service can be applied for through (www.ssc.gov.jo) until the SSC's mobile application is launched mid-September.
