Sudanese ambassador: We commend Egypt’s efforts to end war in Sudan

Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt Emad el Dien Mostafa Adawi commended the strenuous efforts exerted by Egypt to halt the war in Sudan, support a political solution, and help in achieving a comprehensive and durable peace via a Sudanese-Sudanese national dialogue. He made the remarks in statements to MENA on Saturday 6/7/2024 on the fringe of a conference of the Sudanese political powers with the participation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti. He added that Egypt is shouldering a humanitarian, geographical and historical responsibility towards Sudan, noting that it seeks to push for a political solution to halt the war and bloodshed. He praised the urgent relief assistance offered by Egypt to Sudan in addition to Egypt's hosting of Sudanese refugees. He appreciated Egypt's commitment to proceeding with political and diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in Sudan. Source: State Information Service Egypt
