Police on Friday announced the arrest of a man who allegedly shot and killed a man in Mashari area, northern Jordan Valley, on Wednesday, the Public Security Department Spokesperson said.
The victim, in his early 20s, was shot by the suspect who fled the area, the spokesperson added.
A special team was tasked with locating the suspect, he said, adding that the team managed to locate the suspect’s place and arrested him.
The Criminal Court’s prosecutor has started investigating the incident to refer the suspect to the judiciary, the spokesperson noted.
