Syrian Foreign Ministry: 3 civilians martyred and 9 others injured in a Zionist aggression on Damascus

The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry announced today, Tuesday, the martyrdom of three civilians and the injury of 9 others in a Zionist aggression on Damascus. The ministry said in a statement that "in continuation of the series of crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the peoples of the region, and its repeated attacks on Syrian territories, the Israeli enemy launched an air aggression with warplanes and drones at dawn today, targeting a number of points in the city of Damascus, including densely populated residential areas," noting that the aggression "led to the martyrdom of three civilians, the injury of nine others, and significant damage to private property." It added that it condemns this brutal Israeli aggression against civilians and the repeated violations by the Zionist entity of the sovereignty of Syria and the countries of the region." The Syrian Foreign Ministry renewed its call to the world to put an end to this Israeli chaos that ignites the entire region and threatens regio nal and international peace and security, disregarding all international laws and rules." It stressed that "Syria renews its affirmation of its legitimate right to defend its land and people and to resist these crimes by all means guaranteed by international law."
