Teen Drowns in King Abdullah Canal

Amman: Civil defense divers recovered the body of a 17-year-old boy who drowned in the King Abdullah Canal in the Kraymeh area of the Northern Jordan Valley district Wednesday. Northern Jordan Valley District Commissioner Khaled Kasasbeh informed that the teen's family had reported him missing Tuesday night.

According to Jordan News Agency, following the recovery, the public prosecutor and security services inspected the scene and launched an investigation into the incident, as noted by Kasasbeh. The body was referred to the Northern Region Forensic Medicine Center to determine the cause of death.
