Tens of Thousands Perform Friday Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque Despite Restrictions

Jerusalem: Tens of thousands of worshipers gathered to perform Friday prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque despite restrictions imposed by Israeli occupying troops at the gates of the Old City and the mosque. According to Jordan News Agency, in occupied Jerusalem, the Islamic Awqaf Department reported that 45,000 worshipers managed to attend the Friday prayer at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. This gathering occurred amid significant limitations imposed by the occupation troops, who halted worshipers at the gates of the Old City and obstructed their path to the mosque. The situation highlighted the ongoing tension in the area, as the occupation forces' restrictions aimed to limit access to one of Islam's holiest sites. Despite these measures, the large turnout of worshipers demonstrated their determination to fulfill their religious duties at Al-Aqsa.
