The Bar Association mourns one of its members who was killed inside his office in Baghdad

The Iraqi Bar Association mourned one of its members, the lawyer "Ahmed Al-Asadi", whose body was found today, Tuesday, in his office near Al-Kadhimiya Investigation Court in the capital, Baghdad, after losing contact with him since last night's evening. The head of the Bar Association, Ahlam Al-Lami, followed up on the investigation procedures with the judges and the relevant security authorities, stressing the keenness of the judicial and security authorities on the speed and accuracy of investigations, to ensure the arrest of the perpetrators and bringing them to justice. Al-Lami noted that there are estimates that the heinous crime that claimed the life of our murdered colleague "Ahmed Al-Asadi" may be related to his practice of his profession.
