Amman: The Jordan Times launched its mobile application this week, making it available to readers worldwide. The move comes as part of the English-language newspaper's efforts to quickly and easily connect with its global readership and deliver breaking news alerts.
According to Jordan News Agency, Editor-in-Chief Raed Al-Omari stated that the app launch follows updates to the newspaper's website and enhancements to its social media presence. These efforts aim to reach as many Jordanian and international readers as possible who are interested in following news from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan wherever they may be.
He further explained that the newspaper recently introduced a podcast service to engage younger audiences, cover their activities, and amplify their voices worldwide. This initiative is part of The Jordan Times' strategy to diversify its media offerings and cater to the evolving preferences of its audience.
The Jordan Times, published by the Jordan Press Foundation-Al-Rai, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking a significant milestone in its history as a leading English-language news source in Jordan.
