The head of the Security Committee in Basra Provincial Council, "Aqeel Talib Al-Furaiji", discussed today, Wednesday, with the head of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, the latest preparations for our national team's match with its Palestinian brother tomorrow, Thursday.
Al-Furaiji said, "The meeting with Captain Darjal discussed the final preparations and the security plan that was prepared with the officials of protecting facilities and stadiums to secure our national team's match with its Palestinian brother, which will start tomorrow, Thursday, within the Asian qualifiers at the Palm Trunk Stadium.
He stressed that "Basra has sufficient experience and expertise to organize important sports competitions and tournaments, and this is what we saw during the good organization in previous sports tournaments.
