The UN Security Council held an emergency session today, Friday, to discuss developments in Lebanon. Lebanon, through Algeria, a non-permanent member of the Security Council; and the representative of the Arab Group, called for holding an emergency session to discuss the situation in Lebanon, following the Zionist raids and cyber attacks that targeted several Lebanese regions, killing dozens of martyrs, and wounding thousands, including women, children and civilians. On Thursday, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib headed to New York to participate in an emergency session of the Security Council. The Lebanese Foreign Ministry indicated, in a statement, that the participation of its Foreign Minister in the emergency session of the Security Council came after consultations with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, against the backdrop of cyber attacks.
