Three Jordanian Educators Honored for Winning Prestigious Khalifa Educational Award

Amman: Minister of Education Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh honored Jordanian female teachers for winning the 18th Khalifa Educational Award.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ceremony celebrated Dr. Fatima Ali Wazzan Sarhan, a teacher at Arqoub Mixed Basic School in the Northwestern Badia district, who secured the award in the "Arab Creative Teacher" category. Dr. Nisreen Mohammed Hamid Ja'afreh, an educational supervisor from the Southern Mazar Education Directorate, was recognized in the "Educational Research" category. Additionally, Dr. Sana Mahmoud Salem Samadi from the University of Jordan also received accolades for her achievements in the "Educational Research" category.

Minister Mahafzeh expressed the ministry's commitment to supporting creative teachers and nurturing talented individuals. He conveyed his pride in the capabilities of Jordanian teachers, highlighting their contributions to building educational systems in various Arab countries. The minister acknowledged the teaching staff's significant role in the different award cycles and emphasized the development and excellence of Jordan's education system, aligning with international best practices.
