An informed source told the correspondent, of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that three members of the Diyala Council withdrew from the voting session on the main committees in the council, namely Nizar Al-Lahibi, Raad Mughmas Al-Tamimi and Aws Al-Mahdawi, due to the lack of political consensus among the political forces in the council. For his part, Aws Al-Mahdawi stressed that the Kurdish component did not hold any position in the legislative or executive government, and that the internal regulations of the council must be amended before voting on the main committees, and that what happened during the council session was the domination of some components over the committees outside the political consensus.
