Amman: The Jordan Chamber of Commerce has reopened the Jordanian-Saudi Business Council office at its premises to enhance trade and investment ties between the private sectors of Jordan and Saudi Arabia. This strategic move aims to strengthen bilateral economic relationships and facilitate joint ventures between the two nations.
According to Jordan News Agency, the office was inaugurated by the Council's vice presidents Ahmad Shaghdaly and Musa Al-Anzi, alongside Sen. Khalil ElHaj Tawfiq, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Commerce, and other council members. Tawfiq highlighted that the council was reconstituted last year and has since formed 12 specialized joint committees during a meeting in Riyadh. These committees aim to advance collaboration across commercial, industrial, service, and agricultural sectors. He noted that upcoming meetings in Amman will focus on translating coordination into real projects, including potential joint ventures in construction, infrastructure, and information technology, as well as cooperation in Syrian reconstruction, in coordination with relevant authorities.
