Amman: Transport Minister Wissam Tahtamouni and Undersecretary of the Saudi Land Transport Authority Abdul Tasan met to discuss cooperation and coordination in transport.
According to Jordan News Agency, the delegation's visit coincided with the Jordanian-Saudi Joint Committee for Land Transport meetings, aiming to enhance cooperation between the two countries. The meetings concluded with the signing of minutes, including an agreement on land transport issues.
Tahtamouni highlighted the "deep-rooted and historical" ties between Jordan and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation, especially in the land transport sector. She affirmed the Ministry of Transport's readiness to work with Saudi counterparts to support and exchange expertise.
Tasan expressed pride in the strong Jordanian-Saudi relations and gratitude for the reception received. The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Transport, Fares Abu Dayyeh, was also present at the meeting.
