Turkish Parliament Speaker Condemns Assassination of Ismail Haniyeh

Turkish Parliament Speaker / Numan Kurtulmus / condemned the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, describing the operation as "a despicable attack by the Zionist Israeli administration, the enemy of humanity." Kurtulmus said in a condolence telegram published on the X platform this morning, Wednesday: "Another great mujahid has joined the convoy of martyrs in Gaza. Our brother Ismail Haniyeh, the political leader of the Palestinian cause, who presented dozens of his family as martyrs as a result of a despicable attack by the Zionist Israeli administration, the enemy of humanity, was martyred. I wish him mercy from God and that he may be granted a spacious paradise." He added: "He lived as he believed, and died as he lived. He dedicated his life to the Palestinian cause, and his struggle became a role model for many generations. God granted him martyrdom after the firm stance and firm faith he showed after the martyrdom of his sons and grandchildren." Kurtulmus recalled the famous s aying of the late Bosnian leader Alija Izetbegovic: "They buried us in the dirt, but they did not know that we had become seeds." The Turkish Parliament Speaker continued: "I offer my condolences and wish patience to all the sons of the Palestinian people and to everyone who dedicated themselves to serving the cause of /Free Palestine/."
