Turkish President and Omani Sultan Hold Talks on Bilateral Ties and Global Issues

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan engaged in a phone conversation with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq, where they deliberated on bilateral ties as well as regional and global issues.

According to Anadolu Agency, the discussion was confirmed by a statement from Trkiye's Communications Directorate. President Erdogan emphasized that cooperation between Trkiye and Oman has been strengthening across various sectors, and highlighted ongoing efforts to further enhance these bilateral relations.

During the conversation, President Erdogan also extended his greetings to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq for Eid al-Adha, a significant Muslim festival of sacrifice set to begin on Friday. Prior to this call, President Erdogan also spoke with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
