Turkish President Erdogan Meets Chinese Counterpart Xi in Tianjin

Tianjin: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping in Tianjin, China, on Sunday. The meeting took place as part of Erdogan's two-day visit to China, where he is attending the 25th Heads of State Council meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) as a guest of honor.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan began his diplomatic engagements on the sidelines of the summit with a meeting with Xi at the Tianjin Guesthouse. Accompanying Erdogan were Trkiye's top officials, including Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Guler, and National Intelligence Organization chief Ibrahim Kalin.
