Ankara: Trkiye's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday welcomed Tufan Erhurman, the newly elected president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, with an official welcoming ceremony at the presidential palace in the capital Ankara. Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, the president's chief advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic, and other officials attended the ceremony.
According to Anadolu Agency, this marks Erhurman's first official visit to Trkiye since his election as president in October. The event signifies the continued diplomatic relations and collaboration between Trkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
