Two Killed, Journalist Missing After Israeli Airstrike in Southern Lebanon

Al tayri: Two Lebanese were killed, one journalist was wounded and another remains missing following an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Al Tayri in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon. A Lebanese security official said the Red Cross was able, after coordinating with relevant parties, to retrieve the bodies of the victims and evacuate the injured journalist.

According to Jordan News Agency, efforts to search for the missing journalist were disrupted when Israeli aircraft carried out a second strike on the area, preventing rescue teams from accessing the site. The source added that contacts are ongoing through the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to secure safe access for Red Cross teams to return to the strike location and continue the search for the missing journalist.
