U-20 Team to Face Bahrain in Asian Cup Qualifiers Thursday

Manama: The U-20 national football team is set to compete against hosts Bahrain at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday in the 2027 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers. This pivotal match is part of Group D, which also includes Afghanistan and Tajikistan, with all qualifying matches being hosted in Bahrain. According to Jordan News Agency, Jordan will conclude their qualifying run against Tajikistan at 5 p.m. on Sunday as they aim to secure a spot in the continental finals. The qualifiers feature a total of 32 teams, divided into eight groups of four. The group winners and the seven best runners-up will progress to the finals. Under the competition's format, teams finishing at the bottom of their groups will advance to the development stage in the next edition of the tournament. China is set to host the AFC U-20 Asian Cup finals for the second consecutive edition, with the tournament scheduled for March 2027.
