Washington: The United States on Wednesday announced new sanctions on two judges and two prosecutors at the International Criminal Court (ICC). U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Kimberly Prost of Canada, Nicolas Guillou of France, Nazhat Shameem Khan of Fiji, and Mame Mandiaye Niang of Senegal have been designated due to their involvement in ICC efforts to investigate, detain, arrest, or prosecute U.S. or Israeli nationals without the consent of either country.
According to Jordan News Agency, the State Department's website also mentioned that Washington issued a general license related to the ICC. This license allows for the wind-down of transactions with certain designated individuals following the August 20 ban.
