U.S.-Based Group Declares Israel Meets Genocide Criteria in Gaza

Tel aviv: The International Association of Genocide Scholars, a U.S.-based organization, announced on Monday that 86 percent of its 500 members have backed a resolution claiming that Israel fulfills the legal conditions for committing genocide in Gaza.

According to Jordan News Agency, the resolution articulates that "Israel's policies and actions in Gaza fulfill the legal definition of genocide as set out in Article Two of the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide."
