U.S. Imposes New Sanctions on Iran’s Nuclear Program Ahead of Oman Talks

Washington: The United States announced on Wednesday the imposition of new sanctions targeting Iran's nuclear program, just days ahead of scheduled talks between the two sides set to take place Saturday in the Sultanate of Oman.

According to Jordan News Agency, the sanctions target five entities, including Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, as well as one individual, citing their involvement in advancing Iran's nuclear ambitions.

The move comes amid heightened tensions and renewed diplomatic efforts to address concerns surrounding Iran's nuclear activities.
