New York: Major U.S. stock indices saw significant gains on Tuesday, while crude oil prices (West Texas Intermediate) fell by less than $2, settling at $76.10 per barrel.
According to Jordan News Agency, shortly before the close of trading, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by approximately 500 points, reaching 43,990 points. The tech-heavy Nasdaq index climbed over 130 points to about 19,760 points, while the S and P 500 index gained nearly 50 points to reach 6,045 points.
Meanwhile, gold prices increased by approximately $7, reaching $2,755 per ounce.
