University of Jordan Hospital (UJH) on Sunday discussed with the Arab Board of Health Specializations (ABHS), renewal of accreditation of 25 training programs for doctors under the latter's umbrella. According to a UJH statement, its director, Dr. Nader Bsoul, stressed keenness to achieve its vision, which provides a role model and supports education, training and development locally, regionally and globally. Bsoul also noted the hospital is committed to apply the "highest" standards in medical learning and keep pace with developments in this field, while providing an "exceptional" experience for trainees to graduate "competent and safe" doctors in the future. Bsoul added that the hospital hosts a number of "recognized" fellowship programs. Bsoul praised the phsicians' level, who graduated from Jordanian health institutions, especially from University of Jordan, which ranked 368th globally, according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. He also stressed the hospital's continued endeavor to include t he ABHS rules within its system, to increase benefit of non-Jordanian residents, and enable them to provide "pioneering" medical services in their countries after end of their residency period. For his part, ABHS Chairman, Dr. Rashid Al-Abri, valued the UJH's efforts and its leadership role in the training field for health specialties, praising the continuous professional development programs at the University of Jordan. Al-Abri noted the UJH's "distinguished" level of training, which is considered an "outstanding" medical and academic educational incubator that seeks to provide "pioneering" health services.
