London: British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, on Wednesday expressed dismay after Israel barred two British MPs from entering the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to Jordan News Agency, Falconer addressed the issue on social media platform X, stating, "It's unacceptable that two other British MPs have been denied entry. I have remained in contact with both colleagues throughout and I have been clear with the Israeli authorities that this is no way to treat British parliamentarians."
The incident has stirred diplomatic tensions as the British government seeks to address the situation with Israeli authorities. The denied entry of the MPs has raised concerns over the implications for diplomatic relations between the two countries.
