A total of 27,734 COVD-19 cases were recorded in the UK Wednesday, pushing the caseload to more than 5.7 million.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said COVID-19 killed 91 people in the last 24 hours, compared with 131 yesterday, taking the death toll to 129,430.
