UN Special Coordinator urges immediate protection of civilians amid ongoing aggression

UN Special Coordinator, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, on Wednesday said that it was imperative to "protect civilians at all times." In a statement regarding the attack on Nabatiyeh, she emphasized that "violations of international humanitarian law are absolutely unacceptable." Hennis-Plasschaert further asserted, "Civilians and civilian infrastructure must be safeguarded in all circumstances."
