UNDP and Central Bank in Jordan Host Dialogue to Boost Digital Finance

The un development programme (undp) in jordan:he UN Development Programme (UNDP) in Jordan, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Jordan, and supported by the Better Than Cash Alliance, hosted a dialogue session on digital financial services. The event aimed to draft practical recommendations for national inclusion efforts.

According to Jordan News Agency, the session is part of a broader project focused on expanding financial access and usage for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) led by women and youth. During the meeting, attendees examined findings from the Jordan Valley, highlighting the primary digital finance challenges faced by small business owners.

The discussions were centered on strategies to design and pilot more inclusive and responsive financial products. These products aim to assist women and youth-led enterprises in adopting digital payment solutions in a sustainable manner.
