UNESCO holds a training programme for law enforcement agencies in the Kurdistan Region

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), through its office in Iraq, held an intensive training program for 30 officers from various law enforcement agencies in the Kurdistan Region, to enhance the safety mechanisms and protocols for journalists while covering public events such as protests, demonstrations, and elections.
