University of Jordan Engages in Arab Hearing Health Conference

Amman:The University of Jordan participated in the 12th Arab Hearing Health Conference, represented by its Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences' Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. The event gathered experts and specialists from Jordan, Arab countries, and around the world.

According to Jordan News Agency, the conference was held under the patronage of Princess Muna Al Hussein, who is the president of the Jordanian Nursing Council, and was opened by Health Minister Ibrahim Bdour on her behalf.

The conference focused on scientific topics related to hearing, balance, and speech, showcasing the latest developments, technologies, and practices in these fields. The university's faculty presented several scientific papers and lectures, while master's students in speech and language pathology displayed scientific posters related to their research.

The participation of students provided them with a platform to present their research findings and engage in discussions with attending researchers and specialists, allowing them to benefit from specialized expertise and experience. This also helped them stay updated with the latest advancements in audiology and speech-language pathology.
