Amman: Philip Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), called for immediate action, courage, and political will to end the suffering in Gaza.
According to Jordan News Agency, Lazzarini, in a statement posted on X on Saturday, highlighted the dire situation in Gaza, stating, "In Gaza, healthcare workers, journalists, and humanitarian personnel are being killed at a scale unprecedented in any modern conflict."
He further emphasized that these acts are occurring with impunity, pointing out that recent atrocities have been dismissed as mere mistakes, while the reality of famine continues to be denied.
