Amman: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that children in the Gaza Strip are still living in dire conditions amid restrictions imposed by Israeli occupation forces on the entry of humanitarian aid.
According to Jordan News Agency, the UN agency highlighted through its official X account on Saturday that children in the Gaza Strip require adequate warmth, nutrition, and safety to envision a better future. The statement emphasizes the urgent need for the humanitarian aid that remains stalled outside Gaza due to the ongoing restrictions.
The agency reiterated its commitment to support, stating that both UNRWA and other aid organizations are prepared to intensify their efforts to provide relief. The agency called for the immediate lifting of restrictions to facilitate the delivery of essential aid to those in need.
