Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Tuesday held several meetings, starting with Grand Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Mohammad Imam, and Sheikh Bilal Baroudi. Mufti Imam expressed support for Mikati's leadership during these challenging times and discussed various issues related to Tripoli. Mikati also hosted Armenian Catholic Patriarch Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, who praised Mikati's national stance, and Metropolitan Neven Syklis, inviting Mikati to the opening of a new Orthodox church in Zahle. The Prime Minister also received the UNRWA Commissioner General, Philippe Lazzarini, in the presence of UNRWA's Director in Lebanon, Dorothy Klaus, and the Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee, Dr. Bassel Al-Hassan. Discussions reportedly touched on the Agency's conditions and the assistance it provides to the Palestinian refugees. Additionally, Mikati met with Education Minister, Abbas Halabi, and representatives of teachers' unions, addressing salary and benefits concerns, with promises of additional allowances and revised transportation compensations for educators. Premier Mikati also met with Caretaker Environment Minister Nasser Yassin, in the presence of the Chairman of the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Eng. Nabil Al-Jisr.
