Macron urged all parties to exercise restraint and avoid escalation, emphasizing that it would lead to no resolution. In turn, PM Mikati thanked Macron for his support and called for a firm stance against Israeli aggression at the UN Security Council meeting, scheduled at Lebanon's request.
