New york: The US stock market showed mixed performance on Wednesday, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq index rising 255 points, or 1.12 percent, to reach 23,043 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained steady at 46,601 points, while the SandP 500 gained about 39 points, closing at 6,753 points.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil edged up by less than a dollar to settle at $62.40 per barrel.
