Veterans to Receive Training, Financing Support for Small Businesses

Amman: The Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS) and the Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) on Tuesday discussed training and rehabilitation programs for injured military veterans and their children, including access to financing opportunities to establish small businesses.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions took place during a meeting between HCDS Director General Adel Shannaq and VTC Director General Raafat Sawafin, focusing on launching specialized vocational courses tailored to current labor market demands.

The two sides also explored options to provide graduates with financial loans through the Development and Employment Fund, helping them start their own businesses and achieve financial independence.

Shannaq and Sawafin stressed the role of national partnerships in empowering veterans and their families, noting that combining quality training with financing opportunities will better their living standards and boost their economic participation.
