The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 63 points, or 0.13%, to close at 49,167. Meanwhile, the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite rose 50 points, or 0.2%, to finish the session at 24,887. The benchmark S and P 500 edged higher, gaining approximately 8 points, or 0.11%, to end at 7,175.
According to Jordan News Agency, in energy markets, U.S. crude oil prices saw a notable uptick. West Texas Intermediate rose by about $2 to settle at $96.38 per barrel.
