Amman: The Ministry of Public Works and Housing completed traffic modifications at the Prince Al Hussein Interchange on the Airport Road and reopened the new traffic flows to facilitate access for vehicles coming from the Abdoun Corridor tunnel exit toward Dahiat Al-Nakheel, Hay Al-Sahaba, and Marj Al-Hamam.
According to Jordan News Agency, the works involved separating the traffic section coming from the tunnel exit and Abdoun Corridor into two directions. The first direction allows vehicles to merge onto the Airport Road, while the second enables vehicles coming from the Abdoun Corridor to head directly toward Dahiat Al-Nakheel and Hay Al-Sahaba without entering the main Airport Road.
The ministry stated that these new modifications aim to ease traffic congestion on the Airport Road, improve vehicle flow, and streamline transit for drivers coming from the tunnel and Abdoun Corridor toward neighboring residential areas.
The ministry called on motorists and road users to exercise caution and adhere to the newly installed directional signage and traffic rules at the site to ensure public safety and smooth traffic movement.
