Workshop Highlights Subscription Mechanisms for Government Securities

Amman: The Jordan Securities Commission (JSC), in collaboration with the Central Bank of Jordan, organized a workshop for employees of licensed financial services companies. The session aimed to introduce subscription mechanisms for government securities, outline the necessary investment arrangements, and discuss portfolio management. More than 31 specialists from financial services companies participated.

According to Jordan News Agency, JSC Chairman Adel Bino emphasized the workshop's significance, highlighting government bonds and bills as a crucial and emerging investment tool. He noted their role in Amman Stock Exchange trading and individual investment through brokerage firms.

Bino also pointed to potential benefits, such as revitalizing the capital market, strengthening cooperation with financial services companies, and paving the way for future training initiatives. The JSC has actively worked to introduce new investment instruments, including government and Islamic bonds, to enhance market activity, deepen the financial sector, and offer secure, low-risk investment options for individuals and institutions.
