More than 20 members of the Kafr Saum Youth Center Saturday convened for a workshop in Irbid on the “dysfunctional family” issue and its impact on families and societies.
Instructor Fotoon Obeidat, who delivered the workshop, distinguished between the different types of dysfunctional families and the impact this leaves on individuals, families and societies at large.
Obeidat highlighted that children would lose security and safety living as part of dysfunctional families, which leads to constant anxiety and creates violent behaviour.
