Youth Minister Opens Fine Arts Training Center in Mafraq

Mafraq: Minister of Youth, Dr. Raed Adwan, inaugurated the Fine Arts Training Center at the Mafraq Model Youth Center. The center, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, represents a collaborative effort between the Ministries of Culture and Youth.

According to Jordan News Agency, the initiative aims to provide training courses focusing on Arabic calligraphy, drawing, and piano lessons. During his visit, Dr. Adwan interacted with participants engaged in these courses and also toured a cultural and heritage exhibition. The exhibition showcased historical documents, artifacts, and modern embroidery, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Dr. Adwan emphasized that the center is a critical component of a broader partnership with the Ministry of Culture. This partnership seeks to implement youth cultural programs and leverage the youth's cultural potentials to launch joint initiatives. He also stressed the importance of nurturing young people's artistic culture and supporting their talents and creativity.

The inauguration ceremony included a variety of cultural and artistic activities. Attendees enjoyed a scout performance, folkloric dances, and a handicrafts exhibition, which together celebrated the artistic and cultural vibrancy of the community.
