Balqa: Minister of Youth, Raed Adwan, emphasized the ongoing expansion of empowerment programs aimed at developing the skills and creativity of Jordanian youth. Adwan highlighted the significant contributions of young people in various fields, attributing their success to their innovative thinking.
According to Jordan News Agency, Adwan spoke at a celebration organized by the Balqa Youth Directorate to mark International Youth Day. He emphasized that this occasion serves as an important milestone to acknowledge the contributions of young people. The celebration also aligns with the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, who advocates for fostering a culture of benevolence and social responsibility.
Adwan pointed out that volunteer work has become an integral aspect of life, contributing to a cohesive and cooperative society. He praised the youth of Balqa governorate for turning challenges into opportunities, and highlighted the significance of the Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work as a national platform promoting social responsibility.
The event was attended by local dignitaries and representatives, featuring performances by the Salt Youth Band and the Salt Youth Center karate team, as well as the exchange of commemorative shields. Several youths were honored for their impactful initiatives within the governorate.
Following the ceremony, Adwan conducted a field tour of youth centers in Salt, assessing their needs and progress. He also inspected the Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II Sports Complex in Balqa, urging the timely completion of necessary maintenance work.
