Amman: Zain Jordan changed its network name on Thursday to "J079" on subscribers' mobile phones, marking the 79th anniversary of the independence of Jordan.
According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement, the company explained that the name blends Zain's mobile network prefix "079" with the number "79," symbolizing the journey of independence. The initiative serves as a message of national pride and affection for the homeland, and a tribute to Jordan's leadership.
The network name change is part of a broader series of initiatives and activities that Zain launches annually to commemorate Independence Day, sharing in Jordanians' celebration of a historic national milestone marked by pride and dignity.
