Zarqa: The Director of the Zarqa Agriculture Department, Hussein Khalidi, stated that a fire that erupted between the al-Aalouk and al-Kamsha mountains did not cause any damage to the al-Aalouk forests.
According to Jordan News Agency, Khalidi mentioned that the blaze was limited to dry grass and did not impact trees or forested areas. He highlighted that forestry teams from the Directorate acted promptly and managed to extinguish the fire without any losses. Khalidi also emphasized the importance of caution among citizens and visitors when hiking, specifically advising against lighting fires and discarding cigarette butts in forested regions to safeguard public safety and natural resources from fire risks.
